Safety Leadership Starts from Within at Carousel

At Carousel Development & Restoration, Inc., jobsite safety is built on proactive leadership, hands-on training, and accountability. Our dedicated in-house Safety Department provides ongoing oversight and support for more than 150 team members, helping reinforce safe work practices across our concrete restoration projects throughout South Florida.

A critical part of this commitment is our jobsite safety inspection process. Carousel’s safety team conducts inspections of active jobsites and rooftop work areas, reviewing swing-stage rigging, lifelines, anchorages, fall-protection systems, and related equipment. These inspections help identify potential hazards, verify that safety procedures are being followed, and support compliance with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.

Fall protection is especially important during high-rise concrete restoration and exterior building maintenance. Under OSHA regulations, personal fall-arrest system anchorages must generally be capable of supporting at least 5,000 pounds per employee attached, or be designed, installed, and used as part of a complete personal fall-arrest system under the supervision of a qualified person. Carousel emphasizes proper equipment, appropriate inspections, and established safety procedures to help protect employees working at heights.

Our safety program extends beyond fall protection and swing-stage operations. Through forklift safety training, heat illness awareness, CPR and First Aid, equipment safety, certifications, and ongoing refresher training, our Safety Department works directly with field crews to strengthen awareness and preparedness on every project.

At Carousel, safety leadership is more than a department—it is part of our culture. Through consistent training, proactive jobsite inspections, and shared accountability, we remain committed to protecting our workforce and supporting safe, efficient concrete restoration throughout South Florida.
