Heat Awareness & Hurricane Preparedness

CDRI team members participate in Heat Awareness & Hurricane Preparedness Training, reinforcing the company's commitment to safety, teamwork, and professional development.

At Carousel Development & Restoration, protecting our team is a year-round priority, particularly during South Florida's challenging summer months. Heat awareness training helps employees recognize the warning signs of heat-related illnesses, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke, which can result from prolonged exposure to high temperatures and physically demanding work.

Our safety practices emphasize prevention through regular hydration, scheduled rest breaks in shaded or cooled areas, appropriate lightweight clothing, and awareness of changing weather conditions. In addition, Carousel maintains a comprehensive hurricane preparedness plan from June 1 through November 1 to help protect employees, clients, and everyone involved in our restoration projects.

Through preparation, education, and proactive safety practices, we remain committed to creating safer jobsites and ensuring our teams are prepared for the unique challenges of working in South Florida.
